- When a small child her parents moved to Sigourney, where she received her education, graduating from the Sigourney high school. She taught school for several years in the rural schools of Keokuk county and four years in the Keswick public school.
Nina and Adam lived in Keswick for a short time but later moved to a farm near Webster where she resided until Adams death in 1957 when she moved to Sigourney.
Funeral services were held at Powell's Funeral Home in South English. The Rev. Walter Sieck, pastor of the Sigourney Methodist church officiated with burial in Community cemetery at Millersburg. Casketr bearers were Harley Fry, Lawrence Fry, Charles Brower, Ralph Schlicht, Warren Streigle and C. G. Snakenberg.
